requiring the complete demolition of the current buildings, forecourt pump arrangement and ancillary facilities. The site was within a sensitive conservation area, so it needed a sympathetic rebuild to retain its\u00a0architectural heritage. It was a small restricted site layout with difficult entry and exit access on a busy road.
