Sevan hosted two Chicago-area Town Halls in February, and one pilot Town Hall in December.

Sevan plans to host five more Town Halls in 2020 to meet team members from across the nation in various cities and have an open dialogue about important topics.

For the one-day Chicago-area Town Halls, held February 18 and 19, Sevan invited team members to openly discuss topics and questions with senior leadership and each other. The two days included business update presentations by leaders, Q&A’s, multiple workshops and presentations by team members to discuss what’s on their minds. The sessions also included senior leaders taking the time to explain the overarching goals and objectives of Sevan in 2020.

“The main benefit of the Town Halls is for folks to come together to not only learn what is occurring in the organization but to have a more intimate conversation with some of our leaders,” said Chris Galazka, Vice President of People.

“It’s important to allocate time for these meetings, considering 87 percent of our workforce works remotely. Often, these individuals aren’t afforded the chance to see and interact with other Sevan team members. The Town Halls offer the team a valuable opportunity to come together, provide feedback and help us address real concerns and questions within the organization,” Galazka said.

The purpose of the sessions was to initiate a two-way dialogue to ensure everyone had a chance to be heard. The Town Halls served as an opportunity to voice any concerns or offer suggestions.

Sevan is working on incorporating the great ideas that team members generated into the company’s business plans. Leaders are also looking forward to visiting all other team members at upcoming Town Halls.
